PROJECTS
Underprivileged kids who have never gone to school are prepared for formal schooling through NFEs. Children whose educational level is below that of their age group can catch up in Math, English and Hindi. They also receive assistance in applying for acceptance into the formal system. NFE Non Formal Education Centers like Satya Jyoti, have been established to educate underprivileged children who have never been in school. Our hope is to prepare them for formal education schools.
Tuition Centres are for kids who are attending school but need some supplementary assistance that might not be available to them at home. These children can attend tution centres for two hours every afternoon.
Tuition Centers also have been started at several locations to assist students who are attending school but need extra assistance.
There are men in towns and villages across India who are ready to step forward to bring positive change to their communities. We equip them to do this by providing vocational training to help increase their earnings so they have the ability to pass on their knowledge and resources to others.
Enhancing Communities :
Health Care
Love Counts Now is working to arrange heath care and health education initiatives to low income neighborhoods. In order to improve quality of life, we need to improve access to medical care and educate individuals on good hygiene practices.
Families are not often aware of the government resources available to them. LCN is building a network of like-minded people to network in low income areas. In some villages, people live far from health care facilities. In other places, people suffer from preventable diseases because they lack the knowledge or resources to combat illness. LCN has a variety of initiatives to address these needs.
Enhancing Communities:
Advocacy and Social Welfare
There are many resources and government programs available for people in need. However, in some areas, families are not aware of the opportunities or have other barriers to accessi. We are building a network of like-minded people who can help serve their communities by connecting people with the resources they need.
Sewing classes are conducted to train women in a skill to help sustain their families. These programs help women establish businesses in their home communities which adds to the local economy. After completing an internship, micro-financing is available to help start their businesses.

Cosmetology training prepares women to style hair, give facials and nail care. This training helps women establish businesses in their home communities which adds to the local economy. After completing an internship, micro-financing is available to help start their businesses.
Empowerment:
Priscilla project started with the focus in mind so that Pastors’ wives may became supportive help to their husbands in ministry and finances. It helped them to find a significant role for themselves.
Through Pricilla project we help women to be trained in some easy to implement trades. So far we have had training in cosmetologist and sewing. We provide them with the basic training which last for about three months and then we micro finance the project to that they can start something on their own.
